Biography

My watercolour work is a constant research and experimentation of this water-based technique.

Starting with the 'dry/dry' technique for a realistic representation of seaside subjects such as birds, shellfish, boats, etc., I am now devoting myself to the 'wet' technique on 'Yupo' paper, where splashes and drips give rhythm to my motif, which is merely a pretext for this exploration.

The gesture is set free and the vertical rhythms are set against the undulations of the water, for a very personal interpretation of the theme of 'Marinas', a sort of vaporous memory of my travels between the South Pacific and North Bretagne.
