Biography
Erik, whose real name was André René Jolly, was a French comic strip artist and scriptwriter born on July 7, 1912 in Verdun and died of cancer on August 13, 1974 in Dreux.
He is known through his characters, the three most familiar to readers being Mégalithe, Pat'Rac and Finette. They were born in the 1950s and 1960s and were published in particular by Fleurus editions.
