Biography

I trained as an industrial draughtsman and worked in a catalogue design office (before digital assistance). I joined the French Ministry of Education in 1972 and stayed there until 2010.

I've always drawn (pencil, ink) and from the outset turned to watercolour and later pastel. My work has taken me on many trips to Africa and South America. My paintings are essentially seascapes and abandoned objects (vehicles, for example), which have a history through their rust and injuries.
