Biography

Christel Valentin's work revolves around three axes: people, the networks that connect them to each other and to the world and, more recently, jellyfish or clouds of starlings whose individual or collective movements fascinate her. Christel Valentin questions migrations, crossings, displacements, the impulses responding to abstract, logical or absurd codes, which interconnect man and the animal world and reveal existential trajectories not so far apart from one another.
