Biography

The collaboration between the glass artist Laetitia Andrighetto and the glass blower Jean-Charles Miot began as soon as their training was completed, within the CERFAV (European Center for Research and Training in Glass Arts, Vannes-le-Châtel) in 2009 While developing a creative dialogue on common works, they agree in parallel to build universes specific to each one. Jean-Charles turns to technicality and aesthetics. He experiences the instantaneity of hot work as a choreography, a dance, during which he is as much obliged to respect phases as to improvise. Laetitia, for her part, finds her personal expression in the artistic world. Utopian drifts, alchemy and memory work direct his creativity. His artistic universe inspired by the landscapes of his childhood. When they find themselves at the crossroads of a project, a balance is formed, drawing its axis in the glass creation, like a bridge between Art and Design. It is in the heart of the Landes, in Mont-de-Marsan, that their joint workshop was created in 2012.
