Like a theater director, Virginie Mézan de Malartic creates a show, with actors that take us to magic places, like in Italian-style plays. Rhythm, space and light create a unique atmosphere.
These fragments of life are full of mystery, humor and poetry. Her paintings, which she likes working on with a knife, often use only greys and monochromes. The light, natural or artificial, highlights the contrasts.
