Biography

Sirin Dogus is a Kurdish visual artist and illustrator, born in 1986
She has been living and working in Paris since 1989.

Sirin Dogus graduated in applied arts in Paris, and since then she has been using several research techniques revolving around the question of woman and her identity in our contemporary society.

Since almost ten years now, Sirin Dogus has been inspired by her surroundings for her creations. She likes to question the spectator on his vision and conception on the status of woman. To do this, Sirin doesn't stick to one practice, but likes to experiment with several techniques, ranging from collage to drawing.

Sirin Dogus's work can be seen in several group exhibitions in Parisian galleries and fairs.
