Biography
Photographer, Pol Durruff sought for almost 10 years to capture the variations of colors and light of aquatic reflections.
The different seasons and variable skies have allowed him to take many shots, some of which have been the subject of exhibitions (Art Capital at the Grand Palais, Smart Aix, Netherlands, New York, etc.).
However, despite the innovations made in the field of photography, cameras, shots, development of shots, he could not find the brightness of the changing light that his eye had perceived during his many hours of break at the edge of the water. He was missing a third dimension. His quest then focused on the search for both materials and implementation, which would allow him to transmit, let pass and reflect light (glass, mirror, acrylic., ...). His choice fell on acrylic glass, a modern material which allows him after sculpting and polishing work, to bring reliefs, movement, reflections and lights, thus giving life and magic to his fleeting images.
