Pascaline Bonnave
France • 1966
Presentation
Born in 1966, Pascaline Bonnave studied at the Beaux Arts School in Lille. Following this, she left the North of France for Paris, and found a job in on-site television. Despite the stable job, she went back to Lille and experimented around with new activities. She tried out fashion, art therapy, and visual art at Palais des beaux-arts. She put some time aside to paint.
Her very realistic acrylic painting, captures moments of life. Pascaline Bonnave is able to create an intimate atmosphere, which gives the impression of being part of the painting. Once can feel the warmth of light on one's skin or the biting cold. Indeed, she is able to inspire life into her panting, as the seasons go by, these are very close to reality, our own reality in fact. This is how the artist is able to propose narrative painting to us.
