Biography

Selftaught, I became passionate about drawing at a very young age, I learned to draw from Comic books and then from reproducing what is around me, feeling particularly inspired by the colours found in nature and landscapes.

I continued then to study drawing through various projects – comics, scenarios and illustrations, using various techniques: China ink, colour ink, wash drawing, watercolour, pencil, paint.

In 2019, I started working with acrylic paint and painting knife, moved on to Abstract painting to fully embrace colours, as if it were an evidence that I have been waited for all my life long.

My artistic approach consists in exploring the Abstract through the study of matter and colour to bring life on the canvas.

I experiment my creativity came from colours, shapes and movement. Depending on the canvas, I experiment different things: the relation of space to colour, colour to matter or gesture to colour, and in that way, it is almost like Martial Art gesture.

Each painting is a new beginning full of promises. Colour enables me to explore and it changes with each stroke of the painting knife, as though it had a life of its own.

I let myself get carried away with each stroke providing some dynamic, almost energetic to the painting, playing with texture and colours. I paint with my heart and energy to touch people's heart.
