Biography
Vandi began painting in 1965 at the age of 13.
After going through different techniques, ranging from abstraction to impressionism, he focuses on a dynamic of forms where fawn color and colored contrasts play the essential role.
This figurative dynamic, even this figurative exuberance, allow him to be recognized in a filiation: that of painters starting from the Nabis then painters of Poetic Reality.
He meets Limouse, Sabouraud; attends the Legueult exhibition in Paris in 1972, organizes exhibitions with these painters from 1977 to 1987.
He published a book on his work in 1987, entitled "Figurative Exuberance".
The forms and their very particular radiations, with changing vibrations according to the lighting, the seasons, the movement of the cosmos, permanently deliver the essence of the mystery of the World, infinite and inexhaustible renewal!
