Presentation

"In this 360-degree turn, I reinvent myself in sculpture: it's a revelation . The earth soothes me, allows me to escape: I enter my bubble… With the passage to the earth, I put in form what I used to draw. Paradoxically my work as a sculptor is very influenced by the vision of the woman of colorist painters, such as Matisse and Gauguin , by the structuring of the bodies of Modigliani and those of Picasso and more surprisingly by the work of forms and colors of a Kandisnky."

My installation in 2018 on the Basque-Landes coast and the proximity to the ocean is a constant source of inspiration. To create, I draw on all the female representations and bodily attitudes that I find in my daily life, on the beaches or elsewhere, but also on the forms that I observe in nature. Then I let my imagination run wild.

“Much more than the simple representation of bodies, I tend to express heightened emotions. I go through the body envelope to bring out the intimate, the personal. What we want or cannot say. I works on the attitudes and emotions of women that I highlight by an opposition of curves and lines. In my creations, the effects of matter are essential to highlight the volumes.

The voids and the full are an integral part of my sculptures. One does not exist without the other. They complement each other, dialogue and intermingle to make room for an original creation. I model the material and sculpt the void, like so many destinations to reveal the emotions and the intimate.

Each piece is unique. My role as a designer is to help you find your own story. My sculptures are discovered with the eyes and appreciated with the fingertips. It is the beginning of the meeting between our perception and our deepest senses."
