Born in France near Versailles of a French father and an Italian mother, both cultures have always been present in my life. Since I was little I have been passionate about drawing and painting. My artistic career began in an illustration school in Paris where I learned classical techniques. When I finished my studies, I worked in advertising agencies for a 20th year.

Always focused on art, painting and creation, I then began training as a ceramist. The work of the material such as the earth and the work on enamels allowed me to develop my painting towards abstraction. My painting is instinctive. Working at first with the choice of colors, I put them directly on the board or my sheet of paper.

Then my gestures come, I mix, I scratch, I rub and add a touch of red, of black… and the painting forms itself. Often mysterious, sometimes epic, or still evoking an abstract landscape, they lead the observer to live a personal experience. Each will have their own interpretation and will see a different representation. Listening to stories, sensations or feelings is as moving as painting. Zao Wou-Ki, William Turner or Pierre Soulages are some of my sources of inspiration.
