Biography

Self-taught. Learning about color, shapes, composition through books on art and visits to various exhibitions. Practice of watercolor from 1984 to 1995, painting of landscapes and characters.

From 1995, my work moved towards the technique of acrylic on canvas, which quickly became my preferred mode of expression. I then discovered a very personal evolution of my desire to paint. Thoughts, ideas arrive and mingle with the desire to bring them colors. There is no longer, then, for me, a comfort zone in painting because each painting is a new challenge: my desire being first and foremost, to put an image on my idea, on a few words or on a phrasing. No thought is like another, none of my paintings is like another. This is what I present today and what I want to continue to do.
