Biography
Christa Riemann was born in Düsseldorf and studied painting and graphics at the Free Academy Rhine-Ruhr. Her work is represented in many galleries, solo and group exhibitions. In her, mostly large-format, works, she shows insights into the nature of animals and impressions of nature.
Her pictures are multi-layered and structured with an exciting dramaturgy.If up to then you have doubted that animals have a personality, you will be taught otherwise by their work. It shows the individual as a soul-afflicted creature and thus sets a clear counterpoint to the widespread social understanding of animals as livestock.
