Biography

Christine Ay Tjoe is an Indonesian artist. Born in Bandung, Indonesia in 1973, Ay Tjoe studied printmaking and graphic art at the Bandung Institute of Technology.

Ay Tjoe's multimedia practice incorporates painting, drawing, large-scale installations and sculpture. It is inspired by spirituality and the human condition.

Ay Tjoe's works have been exhibited internationally. Recent solo shows have been held at White Cube Hong Kong (2021) and White Cube London (2018).
