Of Neapolitan origin, born in 1980, IABO was born in the early nineties as a graffiti artist, then representing historic Neapolitan teams (KTM, Ki Ta' Muort and 13Bastardi). Over the years, he gradually got closer to the
World of Art. Since 1997 his artistic curiosity pushes him beyond Europe, towards the United States. In New York and Los Angeles, he comes into contact with the underground scene and the artists who are part of it, while maintaining a strong link with Naples, the city where he currently lives and works.
In 2003, he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples and took the painting course. He graduated in visual arts in 2009
with mention. In 2004, he inaugurated his first personal exhibition, Wild at heart, in Rome, in the LOL moda arte e design exhibition space. Also in 2004, he furnished the Gianturco station (NA) as part of the Circumwriting project, a project organized by Evoluzioni, with the participation of Achille Bonito Oliva.
In 2005 he exhibited at the XII edition of the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, organized by Gigiotto Del Vecchio, in Naples, at Castel Sant 'Elmo. In the same period, he exhibited in the permanent collection 100 artists for a museum at the CAM Museum Casoria (NA).
