Biography
Japanese artist Shunsuke Imai was born in Fukui, Japan in 1978. He received his MFA in Painting from Musashino Art University in 2004. Imai's abstract paintings are an investigation of color and form, reminiscent of the vibrancy of Tokyo streets at night.
Imai has held several solo exhibitions of his work at various galleries in Tokyo including, most recently, Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery (2023) and NaDiff Gallery (2023).
