Teruri Yamawaki

In his works, the eyes occupy an important place and have a particular meaning, in the same way as the title or the legend of the piece. The diversity of human personalities and emotions is reflected in his creations. Shapes and facial expressions convey feelings that will be perceived differently by each viewer depending on their own sensitivities.

In 2022, Teruri Yamawaki completed her studies at Kasama College of Ceramic Art, located in Ibaraki Prefecture. She currently resides and works at Kanazawa Utatsuyama Kogei Kobo. His work has recently attracted the interest of art galleries and collectors in Japan and abroad.
