Biography

Born in 1989 in South Korea, this contemporary painter is based in Seoul. His work explores memory and the subjective perception of the landscape. Trained at Gachon University College of Arts and later at Camberwell College of Arts in London, he develops a style of painting where memory takes precedence over reality. Inspired notably by Picasso and Peter Doig, he blends impasto with thin layers, saturated colors, and non-naturalistic hues to convey emotional intensity rather than visual fidelity.
