Peko

Peko was born in 1956 in Utrecht. After an 8-year graphic education course in Utrecht, Peko worked for 24 years as a photographer for the Dutch broadcaster NOS/NOB. He has several exhibitions to his name, both at home and abroad. There have been many publications in various media as well as for calendars for multinational companies and almost all broadcasters. Inspired by various well-known Dutch visual artists with whom he is friends, he started painting successfully as an autodidact. Peko paints colorful, colorful combinations of fantasy figures and "cows in oil" in cheerful colors with very thick paint lines on mainly large canvases.
