Kim Hamilton Sulit is a graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Painting from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines. Born in Angono, Rizal; Sulit has been exposed early on to art from his hometown. During his college days, he participated in various completion and won. Later on, He becomes a full-time artist and his work has been exhibited around various galleries and museums here in the Philippines. His practice explores a wide range of media from drawing, painting, assemblage, and object-making. His work often represents the traces between memories and experience, inspired from his childhood encounter and by examining social and domestic conditions and human psych. By using icons such as fire, birds, skulls that produce a dark and sometimes uncomfortable feeling, his work tries to blur the boundaries of life uncertainties, giving us a sense of discomfort that makes us examine and recompose ourselves.
