Iwa Kruczkowska - Krol

Iwa Kruczkowska-Król – Born in Zabrze. A graduate of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts, diploma in 2004. With easel painting in the studio of prof. Jacek Waltoś with a unique fabric annex at Prof. Lila Kulka. Diploma in scenography specialization under the supervision of prof. Krystyna Zachwatowicz-Wajda in 2004. In 2011-2012, postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Interior Design and Design Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. In 2017, she obtained the title of Doctor of Arts at the Academy of Arts Beautiful in Krakow. Since the same year, he has been an employee of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Technology Śląska in Gliwice. (Department of Fine and Design Arts). 

In the years 2010 to 2014 Member of the Board of the Krakow District of ZPAP, from 2014 -2018 Member of the Main Board of ZPAP. In the years 2004-2020, she participated as a stage and costume designer in the production of theater performances, feature films, etudes, music videos, commercials, as well as educational films and video art. She organized over 30 individual exhibitions and participated in over 270 collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad, often being the curator of these exhibitions. Repeatedly awarded and honored during painting competitions and honored with creative scholarships of the City of Krakow and the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship.  

She participated in many symposia, residency stays and exhibitions in Japan, USA, South Korea, France, Germany, Ireland, Great Britain, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Belgium, India, Romania , Georgia, Switzerland, Albania, Turkey, Jordan, Colombia. She also participated in Mail Art projects in Spain, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Austria, Argentina, Serbia, Brazil, Chile, Finland, and online projects in Australia, Nepal, China, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Egypt, Bolivia and Nigeria, Peru. He deals with painting, stage design, unique textiles and art education. Works in many state and private collections in Poland and abroad
