Gabriela Pienias

I was born on March 3, 1985 in Katowice (Poland). I am a visual artist, I create three-dimensional objects and paintings, sculptures and installations. I am interested in the concept of painting and art in general, in its essence. 

There is a lot of conceptualism in my art, but also simplifications and minimalism to express my idea in a simple, pure form, an ideal form. I create in various materials. I am an academic lecturer at the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), doctor of fine arts, I teach graphics and drawing. 

I studied painting at the University of Katowice, I also studied painting at the University of Lisbon and the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.
