Biography
Born in the Island of Pico in 1977, he has lived in S. Miguel where he attended, between 1994 and 1995, where he attended drawing and painting at the Academy of Arts of Ponta Delgada. He has a degree in Painting by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon.
Regarded for many as one of the most promising Portuguese figurative painters of his generation, his work is represented in numerous public and private collections in Portugal, Spain, France and Angola.
