Presentation

Andreea Zahiu is a woodcarver of Romanian origin. She now lives and works in Brittany. It is in Oxford, England, where she lived for 12 years, that she was introduced to woodworking with passion. She sculpts and approaches with patience this natural material that she likes to consider with an experience and a history of its own. She thus enters into an intimate dialogue with each essence to create works that are both powerful and sensitive. She is currently exhibited in Paris, in the heart of Saint Germain, at the 1831 Art Gallery.
