Pyzhova Alevtina was born in 1936 in Moscow in an officer's family. The artist has been painting since 1958, his work is marked by naive art, and the customs of his native Russia. Alevtina's favorite subjects are the fantastic tropical landscapes inhabited by animals and sometimes people, politics is also present. The eroticism of certain paintings is sometimes very thorough, provocative but always turned under the sign of humor and wit. Alvetina Pyzhova's work pays homage to Russian culture, placing no limits on creativity.

Alevtina's works are part of several European collections (in London, Paris, Marseille, Zurich and elsewhere), in the collections of the Museum of Everything in London, the Museum of Naïve Art in Moscow, the Museum of Soviet Naive Art in Perm and the Museum of Organic Culture in Kolomna, as well as in many private collections.
