Maloles Antignac

Maloles Antignac questions in her practice the energy of the world, and tries to search for innovative ways to celebrate biodiversity and promote new conceptions of the natural word at a time of an unprecedented environmental crisis. It gives birth from clay to hybrid creatures connected to each other by visible or invisible threads. Her works resemble fragments of bodies in mutation as if they had come from the bowels of the earth. Are they erotic, mystical or witnesses of a world of endangered treasures?

Each one carries within a shamanic, almost sacred, dimension, which is expressed in the depth of its clay, the mysterious luster of its enamel, the dark-light of shungite, this carbon powder as it came from the depths of the ages.
