Andreas Wargenbrant is best known for his sculptural works in metals such as bronze, copper and cast iron, which have been surface treated to create a rustic, weathered finish. The methods involve, among other things, letting the sculptures wear outside for a long time and machining them with different abrasives. He also practices photography and painting.

Andreas Wargenbrant was born and raised in Helsingborg. His major breakthrough came in 2010 with his rendition of the classic Swedish horse Dala in bronze. The motifs are often animals such as dogs, birds and horses, but silver is also a central theme in the art.

His metal wall sculpture, “One Dollar,” took a break from a longer exhibition at classic Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. He has a large audience in Sweden and Germany, where his sculpture "Ocean 1" was selected by Unesco to represent a World Heritage site and is now on display in Hamburg.

Huge versions of his art can be found in shops and homes, such as the patented two-meter-high gold shoe Mon Amour in Louboutin at Boman's Hotel in the Swedish town of Trosa.

Andreas Wargenbrant is also the artistic head of "Spritan", a creative center set up in the Ödåkra alcohol factory outside of Helsingborg.
