Biography
Mustafa Sönmez is a Turkish painter who was born in 1992 in Konya. He studied in the University of Fine Arts of Selcuk, Turkey and then in the Suleyman Saim Tekan studio at the Museum of Graphic Arts of Istanbul, where he works to this day.
Two subjects dominate the figurative universe of Mustafa Sönmez: women and animals. Those are represented separately or fused in subtle compositions.
Mustafa Sönmez received a prize when he won a drawing competition organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts. His work was also rewarded at the Bursa painting competition. He exhibits his work in Turkish galleries.
