Biography
Helen Marten is a celebrated British artist. She studied at both Central Saint Martins and the University of Oxford, graduating from the latter in 2008.
Marten's multimedia practice encompasses sculpture, painting, video and writing. Her works are an exploration of the material world, its instability and our relationship to materiality.
Solo exhibitions of Marten's works have taken place internationally, most recently in New York, London and Paris. In 2016, Marten was awarded the Tate Turner prize and the inaugural Hepworth prize.
