Kalpana Soanes

I grew up sketching pictures in the sand on the shores of East Africa. Developing my skills each day and constantly trying new techniques, I started selling artwork at a very young age. In adulthood, I lived and worked in many countries in Europe and abroad. Now based in the UK, I am a full-time artist inspired by nature, the ever-changing weather and human emotions. My paintings are intuitive and they are basically my mood on canvas. Art is my entire world. I lose myself in it and without it I am lost. My work spans expressionistic abstracts and impressionistic landscapes. They are a product of my imagination. My preferred mediums are oils and acrylics. I am fortunate to have sent my paintings to private collections all over the world.
