Biography
Sarah is founder of the Lansdown Studios and gallery where she exhibits all year round. She has shown work in a number of exhibitions including Brighton art fair the powder mill and Covent Garden and has sold to Collectors wold wide. Inspired by the beauty and seasonal drama of the South Downs coast where she lives.
Sarah Burges creates dramatic seascapes landscapes and vibrant floral displays, resisting traditional more delicate approaches. Sarah's large scale paintings are robust. Powerful and exuberant using oil on board her energetic impressionist brush work focus on colour relationships.
