Neda Dana-Haeri's is a painter and printmaker. Her art is inspired by Persian poetry and Eastern philosophy.Layers and textures depict different dimensions, hovering between certainty and ambiguity in a continuum of colours and shades`. She morphs poems expressed, and scenes experienced into hues and abstract themes which focus on the interplay of cultural and personal memories.
Dana-Haeri was born in Iran and has been living in the UK since 1977. She studied Psychology and Fine Art and currently lives and works in London. Her work has been exhibited widely and is held in numerous international collections. She participated at several art residencies in the USA, Japan and India, and published, with Tajalli Keshavarz, the book “Unbound Expressions", based on a collaborative project.
