Biography
I'm a self-taught abstract artist. I dance in addition to being an artist. I dance Ballet, Modern, and West African. Furthermore, I've always been intrigued by the history of deserted islands and buildings. I had the good fortune to take a tour that allowed me to see and learn about the abandoned hospital complexes on Ellis Island. I had also investigated and learned about seven islands throughout NYC as part of my own historical inquiry.
My artistic inspiration comes from my imagination and life experiences. I enjoy playing with colors, marks, different media, and other things. I rotate the paper to explore new pathways. I layer my elements multiple times until it feels right. These elements form the basis of my distinctive work.
