Biography
Having grown up in the Midwest during a time when art was not an acceptable career choice, Deborah was primarily self-taught, reading books about early abstract expressionists, attending art exhibitions, and experimenting on her own.
After working in her husband's business and raising a family, she decided that to advance her love of art she needed a formal education in art. She enrolled herself in the College of Charleston and at the age of 69 received her B.F.A. with honors. Today she loves experimenting with new techniques and works extensively with AI when creating new works.
