An abstract painter with roots in realism, Ben Young implements his intimacy with his environment into his work. His professional background in color theory, composition and realism is represented in his abstract work today. Using a strong command of color, bold and subtle, he creates a striking balance of realism and abstraction. This has allowed Ben the versatility to paint in multiple styles successfully. Ben Young is an American artist born in New York City, 1968. He lives in Laguna Beach, CA. Ben attended and graduated from Otis College of Art & Design.
