I explore how minimalism, architectural forms, and textures evoke emotional responses, allowing viewers to enter a state of depth and calm.

Biography

Olga Sakirko is a contemporary abstract artist. She graduated from the European School of Design in 2009 and completed advanced professional programs in contemporary painting and abstraction. Olga has been practicing professionally since 2013.

Her artistic language is rooted in minimalism, architecture, and tactile expression. Working with acrylic, oil, pastel, and wool threads, Olga creates refined abstract compositions defined by fluid lines, organic reliefs, and carefully balanced color fields. Her works operate at the intersection of fine art and spatial design—functioning both as independent artworks and as integral elements of interior environments.

At the core of her practice lies an exploration of form, texture, and emotional rhythm. Olga investigates how architectural structure and natural motifs coexist, translating this dialogue into meditative visual landscapes. Earthy tones, soft gradients, and subtle surface variations evoke feelings of calm, inner balance, and quiet movement. Each piece is conceived as part of a broader series, forming a cohesive visual system that invites slow looking and contemplation.

Olga works within the philosophy of slow art, emphasizing attention to detail, respect for materials, and thoughtful observation. Her process highlights the emotional impact of minimalism—how restrained form and texture can create depth, resonance, and psychological space for the viewer.

Over 200 of her works are held in Russia and other countries. Olga regularly participates in contemporary art and design exhibitions and curatorial projects, including the Siberian Biennale of Design and Contemporary Art (2019–2023) and exhibitions at Russian House (2024–2025).

Through a distinctive blend of minimalist abstraction, architectural clarity, and organic texture, Olga creates contemplative artworks that offer viewers moments of stillness, connection, and emotional harmony—bridging contemporary aesthetics with inner experience.
