Kathleen Wilke studied photography and illustration at the Arts Academy in Cincinnati and Art Institute of Boston. The artist developed a poetic and sensitive art, depicting submarine views between fiction and reality. She plays around with the effects and reflections of the water, in order to give her photos an aerial aspect.
She often uses feminine models, exuding peace even while they are playing or dancing.
Kathleen Wilke received the first prize for her photo at the Unscene Tour in Los Angeles. Her work is displayed in USA, Hong Kong, Singapore and London.
