Biography
Pedro is a Brazilian-born, award-winning and internationally published, street, editorial and what he likes to call, “ journalistic fine art “ photographer. He is based in Portland, Oregon, and Orange County-California, with a foot in New York and Sao Paulo, Brazil as well. Truth is Pedro’s bed barely recognizes the man.
Pedro is best known for his award-winning headshot series: "Careful: Soul Inside,” which tells photographic tales of homeless around the world; “ Beyond the 60th Sense,” photo essay which tells stories of females over 50s who are part of the American workforce, and “Ribeira: A Brazilian Tale.”
Born and raised in Sao Paulo City, Brazil, Pedro is a former IBM Database Administrator and hold Bachelor of Computer Sciences (Uninove, Brazil) and a Bachelor of Communication and Advertising (Portland State University, Oregon).
