Keri Rosebraugh

Rosebraugh seeks to find connections between man and nature, exploring how humans and the environment affect each other. Her artwork explores human's quest for comfort versus our need for mankind to live mindfully on this earth. Her practice is based on the exchange of ideas and resources, sometimes with direct participation of people as possible vehicles for social change. 

Her work nurtures a discourse on human existence as a whole, its kinship to systems of control, time, and nature. Through painting, sculpture, video, and installation, Rosebraugh's creations attempt to transcend the ruins of the past and the wounds of the present, by offering a context that facilitates the analysis of our responsibility and needs in a future unknown.

Rosebraugh attained her MFA in Florence, Italy and currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California and Marnay Sur Seine, France. In 2016, her work was accepted into 3 group exhibitions in City Hall in Paris, France in conjunction with the International Summit on Climate Change. 

Rosebraugh's artwork is part of the Permanent Collection of the Museo de Arte Contemporanea di Florina in Greece and was installed into the Natural History/State Darwin Museum in Moscow,Russia for an exhibition on ecology titled “Now & After." In 2018 her work was featured in a special issue of ACCESS Cultural Platform magazine published in Soul, Korea highlighting young artists of the year in contemporary arts. 

Her artist residencies have included sailing the Arctic Circle, creating work based on the importance of water at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice, Italy, and researching water from the River Seine at the Camac Foundation in Marnay Sur Seine, France. She has created public art pieces in Los Angeles, California, Gearhart, Oregon and Paris, France. Currently she is the director of L'Expressoir Artist Residency in Marnay Sur Seine.
