Biography

Susan Van Gundy is the artist known as SetteOtto, an abstract painter and photographer currently based in the Pacific Northwest. Strongly influenced by patterns and interactions of both the natural and designed worlds, SetteOtto explores the phenomenological, as well as abstracted concepts of time and scale. A scientific and systems thinker by habit and training, SetteOtto is also a romantic whose art captures emotional experience through a distinct visual vocabulary of color and texture.
