Description
A felt maker and textile artist, Emily Borgeaud cultivates the taste for movement and the other, for the encounter and uncertain borders. To be here or there, and to look, listen, touch, explore and then speak of these encounters, as windows onto the world. Intuitive and poetic, her work is part of the always-repeated quest for the "right material" and the gestures that will know how to say the form. At the heart is the wool, the alchemy of the fibers, their transformative properties, the touch. An organic, intimate, and intertwined process, a conversation interrupted only when the material made form crosses the threshold of the workshop and offers itself to others, for the next dialogue.
