Description
Pushing to the extreme the current obsession with a link to reinvent between humans and nature, this set illustrates a literal fusion with the elements.
The Green Room documents the wandering of a woman in the heart of the forest and the transformations of a body in the process of plant hybridization.
A slow and delicate mutation, like the long and precise time of the engraving, brought to life by the free and spontaneous line of the ink drawing which in turn extends, enriches and transcends this metamorphosis.

Presentation
French visual artist VAM oscillates between the archetypes of the feminine and the drifts of the Anthropocene.
Employing a variety of mediums – video, installations, sewing, photography, engraving... – she explores distortions of self-image through an intergenerational lens.
Her recent works focus particularly on the connection to the plant world, developing hypotheses of genetic mutation and human/nature hybridization.
She exhibits regularly in France and internationally.
