Description
Parameciums in blue colored pencil on 325 g Hahnemühle watercolor paper.
This artwork presents an assemblage of cobalt blue oval shapes, seemingly scattered randomly across a pristine sheet of paper. Each oval, representing a paramecium seen under a microscope, appears to possess a unique texture, evoking a sense of movement and lightness. One element stands out, isolated, contrasting with the concentration of the others, creating an intriguing visual tension. The use of intense blue against a white background accentuates the idea of space and freedom, allowing the eye to move freely around the forms. This minimalist composition draws the eye with its subtle balance and refined aesthetic, inviting contemplation and personal interpretation. The apparent simplicity conceals a symbolic depth, where each oval becomes an element of delicate harmony.

Presentation
- Plastic artist
More than twenty years ago now, an artist friend during a walk cut a branch of forsythia attacked by galls from a hedge, telling me that it could be a good subject to paint.
So I took out my brushes and my school paints and reproduced the branch quite clumsily. But the virus took hold, pushing me to paint and progress. My scientific training and observational drawing help me a little for line, time and practice for color.
For ten years, I have accepted the idea of showing my work which revolves mainly around botany, zoology with often a suggested or even suggestive double reading.
I have a personal museum of curiosities which serves as a database for the production of my images.
I mainly use watercolor as a medium but also the repurposing of engravings, objects and photography.
