Elegant trio, 2026

Galya Symchych

"Elegant Trio" is a luxurious watercolor composition that captivates with its airy texture, inner light, and refined balance of colors.
The painting depicts two lush white tulips and a peony, which densely fill the space of the canvas. The flowers are arranged in a dynamic triangle, creating a harmonious whole—a true "trio." The white flowers are masterfully rendered using rich half-tones. A deep, velvety black background completely absorbs extraneous details of the surrounding space, making the delicate petals appear to glow. Thanks to this contrast, the flowers acquire an incredible three-dimensional volume and a tangible, relief-like quality. A masterful command of watercolor is clearly evident: smooth washes and soft transitions harmonize with precise, almost graphic lines defining the edges of the petals. The work is imbued with a noble serenity, a sense of nocturnal mystery, and exquisite beauty.
Given the specific characteristics of watercolor, it is recommended to opt for a classic museum-style presentation, featuring a wide mat and a simple, understated frame with anti-reflective glass.
