Oswin Gesselli

In a visionary discrepancy between realism and vision, between earthly and dimensions, the work of Oswin Gesselli balances between the extremes, which can exist differently in the same work. His visionary ability spans the deeper and higher strata of life, balancing at the intangible level that only a few can enter in utmost concentration. The extremely detailed and expressive work in the whole discord and duality also offers the dynamic, dualistic existence in the second dimension.

A fist impression to share inner thoughts and to fall in love with an artwork. The second one can make people see things in a different way they are used to. The third one can even open their hearts and make them quiet. And than it's perspective, getting aware of deeper layers, discovering more than you saw at first sight. A painting of Gesselli needs no translation, it's the inner feeling that makes it personal to the spectator. It can take years of observation to find out all, that is in the painting. The spectator can make its own journey with the painting. The reflection of inner thoughts, the power to grow beyond the surface of life. To reach the next level of existence his work creates a possibility to reflect and find out the deeper layers inside a person's life.

Nature is his biggest source of inspiration, but the respect and influence of Leonardo Da Vince can be found in the deeper layers of several works. In every single artwork the love and respect for fauna and flora is conveyed. You have to dive into his art to explore hidden messages, phenomenal portraits, fabulous quotes or mysterious creatures. Think like Freud. Every painting has to have a 'soul' to make him feel satisfied about his work. His visionairy philosophy and powerful vision on our planet are the base on which every artwork is made and are always adding beauty.
