Description
Pullets, hens, casseroles are a very talkative subject. They symbolize for everyone something different, the farm, the countryside, the life of yesteryear, or even gossip, gossip, seeing gossip without slander, or women and prostitutes... It is a fun topic! which also appeals to children. The invoice removed, removes the ridiculous preciousness of an overly realistic drawing and allows everyone's imagination. In my work, I favor accidents, hazards. I don't like virtuosity in painting. I like the handmade aspect, testimony of our humanity.
Presentation
NATURAL STORIES
Neither political, nor narrative, nor illustrative, nor cathartic, my painting and drawing focus on plastic parameters.
By wanting too much to tell a story, to defend an idea, to describe a reality, painting loses all its meaning because it does not address the mind but the feeling, a part of the brain which nourishes a neglected area and which innervates our senses .
A painter is a researcher, an alchemist.
