A mesmerising surrealist portrait submerges the viewer in a dreamlike underwater world. Artush Voskanyan crowns a serene, porcelain-skinned woman with a vivid red octopus for hair, its tentacles curling past her cheek, while two silvery fish form her closed eyelids and a single red fish becomes her lips. Her hand, rising like pale coral, blends seamlessly into the reef of anemones, brain coral, and drifting fish that surround her. Painted with exquisite detail in the Dalíesque tradition, the work weaves human and marine forms into one luminous metamorphosis. Enigmatic and beautifully crafted, it meditates on disguise, transformation, and the hidden harmony between woman and the sea.
