Description

My aesthetic search uses tools of a “deconstructed” figuration that seeks the abstract. Perhaps unfinished. I am interested in that subtle balance, a point of tension, where the forces of chance, the unconscious gesture and the sensitivity of the line of the drawing dialogue. Stopping at the right point, where the viewer's intervention is essential to complete the work. An invitation to new starting points.

Presentation

I am artist , illustrator and cultural activist. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and have been living in Madrid for over 20 years, where I work as an illustrator for renowned newspapers ("El País", from Spain and "La Nación", from Argentina).

In 2012, I began exploring my personal work, coinciding with my birth, intrinsically linked circumstances: raising my son, creating my home studio, and my personal work are all part of the same aesthetic gesture. I conceive each work as a game, where everything happens in real time.

I am interested in abstract figuration, the subtle balance where the forces of chance, the unconscious gesture and the sensitivity of drawing interact. I stop at the precise point, where the spectator's intervention is essential to complete the work, like an invitation to new starting points. My recurring themes are connections and identity.
